As one of the marketing gurus at RJS, I subscribe to several design, advertising and creative outlet blogs so I can gather inspiration for projects we’re working on at RJS headquarters.  Oftentimes, I come across some really cool links to wickedly imaginative and fun websites, books, ad campaigns and other random brilliance.  To kick off your weekend, I plan on sharing “Friday Fun Links” each TGIF.  Without further ado… enjoy!

For all you World Cup fans, I hope your ears have finally stopped ringing from the vuvuzela chorus.  During the tournament, Nike had a fantastic ad campaign entitled, “Write the Future.”  The full commercial is pretty neat and will definitely win myriad awards.

Ever wonder what the world looks like from an animal’s perspective?  Whether armadillo or frog, The Museum of Animal Perspectives has safely mounted cameras on some of our favorite furry friends to provide “animal-borne imaging.”

iNudge has created a pretty sweet website where you can easily make your own music. Customize a visual map of your song and score the next big hit!

Can’t get enough of the television show, Mad Men?  AMC’s smash hit brings us back to the super suave and ultra sleek 1960′s, where Don Draper and several other memorable characters inhabit the lifestyle and culture of advertising folk on Madison Avenue. Mad Men Unbuttoned, a book by Natasha Vargas-Cooper, dives further into that fabulous decade and provides a lot of fun context, images and anecdotes for even the casual fan to go mad over!
