RJS Website Update
August 16, 2010
Before I was hired at RJS, I went into my first interview a bit blindly. I knew they were a software company, but beyond that, I could tell very little else from viewing their website.
Much like a handshake, the look and feel of a website is incredibly important when making that first impression. RJS’ current site is somewhat like a cold and clammy / flimsy handshake… not very inspiring and tough to read. Luckily, I wasn’t the only person that found it difficult to navigate and find product information within the current framework. RJS leadership saw this need as well and we are now embarking upon a complete remodel that will arm us with a firm, hearty handshake.
So what can you expect from the newly designed site?
- Core messaging – no longer will it be a guessing game to identify what RJS does. Our “Document Management Lifecycle” will be front and center and will easily illustrate how you can utilize RJS to manage the entire lifecycle of your business information.
- Navigation – Finding the exact product solution for your company’s needs is a bit difficult, currently. Soon, you will be able to find products by how they fit in the document lifecycle and via a comprehensive search function.
- Industry solutions – Do you work in healthcare and want to know how RJS could help streamline your business processes? You and members from other important industries will have dedicated pages showing how RJS can solve particular pain points.
- Resources – If you need a couple sure-fire selling points for your team, our site will contain a plethora of fantastic resource materials to choose from. Case studies, ROI calculators, videos, white papers, fact sheets and on-demand webinars will create a virtual library of product insight.
- Support – RJS has always offered industry-leading support and now we will raise the bar even further. Not only will members of our support staff periodically submit helpful blog posts, but the team is working diligently to amass a YouTube library of tutorial videos.
We hope you are as excited as we are to complete this project. If you have any ideas on what we should include in our site, please leave us a comment. Otherwise, stay tuned for future updates and expect to see the debut of our new site in early October.
