Let’s cap off our TGIF with some Friday Fun Links!

At RJS, we’re all about going paperless which is why we were psyched when we found Don’t Trash the Phone Book.  With less and less people utilizing the printed version of the phonebook, this website allows you to opt out of receiving the paper monstrosity.  Now you can save trees and eliminate the annoyance of seeing that wasteful brick on your door step.

Possibly one of the coolest inventions we’ve seen in a while, Scott Brusaws’ innovative solar roads could revolutionize the entire transportation grid.  Using solar panels and high-strength glass, Brusaws predicts that we could harvest energy from the sun, while utilizing these solar roads exactly the same way we do today for mass transit.  Check out the Wired for more on this fantastic idea.

How many times have you been out in public, only to suddenly need an emergency face mask?  No fear, we have a solution for you… or rather your female companions.  The ridiculousy funny eBra is a basic bra, but quickly unfastens to become twin face masks in an emergency.  As Fox News reports, “Dr. Elena Bodnar won an Ignoble Award for the invention last year, an annual tribute to scientific research that on the surface seems goofy but is often surprisingly practical. And now Bodnar has brought the eBra to the public; purchase one online for just $29.95.”

Finally, everyone’s favorite vintage video game, Pac-Man, gets the always-creative stop-motion treatment.  Enjoy!
