RJS solves difficult problems and streamlines business processes for customers big and small. Whether it is a substantial “paperless” solution with multiple products, or a small company needing an affordable, yet robust security suite in Sophos, we’ve found that no two sales are the same.

Although many of our customers want to go paperless or automate a business process, each situation is unique and needs a solution that is tailored to their business environment. We take pride in providing that personal touch to our customers. Here are a handful of our favorite success stories of 2011. 

If you’re having chicken for dinner, there’s a good chance the package has a Gold’n Plump logo on it. Looking to capture web-based forms while integrating with their Lawson portal, Minnesota-based Gold’n Plump is soon rolling out WebForms to capture HR documents. Gold’n Plump also embraces the entire document management lifecycle by managing and distributing documents with WebDocs and securing their data with Sophos.

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has been a customer of RJS for nearly a decade. They originally purchased WebDocs iSeries to manage and store their members’ Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood. With over 700 users utilizing WebDocs, the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is now enhancing their paperless solution with WebForms and, in the future, SignHere. With these additional products, their food distribution program will become completely electronic. Furthermore, they will now be able to automate reporting directly to the United States Department of Agriculture.

The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is a luxury hotel, casino and spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Always wanting to provide a second-to-none guest experience, the Borgata incorporates SignHere as a full registration solution at their front desk. SignHere digitally captures guest signatures upon check-in and saves them electronically via their back-end system. The SignHere signature pad screen also serves as a billboard allowing the Borgata to advertise guest amenities and events.

DealerTrack, a leading provider of on-demand dealer management software and services for the automotive industry, was in need of a document management solution to pair with their own Dealer Management System. The South Jordan, Utah-based company now hosts WebDocs iSeries for their many dealers across the nation who use our product to manage and store vehicle deal jackets, repair orders and other automotive documents.

The Illinois FAIR Plan is a not-for-profit insurance association that provides homeowners and property insurance to those who are unable to purchase coverage for reasons beyond their control. Wanting to provide their customers with the convenience of online forms, they now use WebForms to capture online insurance applications via their website. Illinois FAIR Plan has also been a WebDocs iSeries customer since 2008.

Electro-Motive Diesel, a premier provider of locomotive technology for over 85 years, utilizes SAP for their accounting and back-end ERP system. In need of a solution to streamline their accounts payable process, Electro-Motive Diesel has over 300 users utilizing WebDocs Windows to capture and manage AP documents and Enterprise Workflow to route them through departments for review and approval.

A local healthcare company (who will remain anonymous for security reasons) asked for our security expertise on two projects: 1) their anti-virus solution was not effective and difficult to manage and 2) they needed to make sure they were HIPAA compliant. To combat the first issue, RJS implemented Sophos Anti-Virus for flawless protection and ease-of-management and control for devices and data. RJS then conducted an internal resource audit as well as vulnerability assessments for their network and web portal. In these assessments, numerous patch management issues were discovered. The customer was able to effectively eliminate the security holes and address future compliance policies with our simple step-by-step remediation report.

Encore Wire, a customer of RJS Software since 2006, needed to update their older iSeries systems. Wanting to gain the advantages of new, more powerful Systems, RJS assisted Encore Wire in implementing two new POWER7 8202-E4B six core processors. Encore Wire also replaced their older High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) software with Maxava’s new HA/DR product to gain an “easier to use HA/DR console,” complete with a handy mobile device notification process.
