In our Document Management Lifecycle, we focus on four facets: capture, manage, distribute and secure.
Utilizing products we’ve built over the past 21 years, those first three categories contain fabulous software that can help any company, big or small, go paperless. The final component, security, has become increasingly important as hackers and data thieves have become smarter in how they steal information from organizations. Because of this, we made enhancing our security offerings a top priority in 2011.
We have now added three additional products to our security line.
1. Vulnerability Assessments:
As news sites light up with data breaches around the globe, companies are investing in vulnerability assessments. In simple terms, a RJS Vulnerability Assessment identifies and provides intuitive steps on how to fix the broken links within your organization’s IT infrastructure that allow these cyber villains the opportunity to steal data. Whether rogue applications on a desktop or security loop holes within your website, RJS can now help you find and eliminate potential gateways to data leakage, malware, intrusions and network high-jacking. We utilize the very best in assessment and penetration technology and offer detailed reporting and expert analysis. As an introductory offer, we are promoting this service at 50% off through July 31st.

2. ESET:
We recently partnered with ESET to provide a low-cost anti-virus product. ESET consistently ranks quite highly in virus protection. In fact, when an “in-the-wild” virus attempts to enter or run on your system, ESET’s ThreatSense heuristics has pitched a no-hitter. According to Virus Bulletin, ESET has never missed an in-the-wild virus during its battery of tests, beating out Kaspersky, Symantec, McAfee and TrendMicro. And if you are an AVG customer, you may want to look at this startling graphic.
For Android phone owners, ESET is also providing an open beta of their Android mobile security offering. The product includes call intercept, SMS/MMS anti-spam, malware protection, remote lock, remote wipe and GPS localization should you misplace your mobile device. The current beta is available for Android OS versions 2.0 through 2.3. Unfortunately the Honeycomb (3.0+) folks will need to wait a bit longer. Speaking of mobile security and control, don’t miss our upcoming webinar on that very topic!

3. SmoothWall:
Yesterday we mentioned the Sophos acquisition of Astaro and its impressive firewall. Prior to that transaction, we teamed up with another United Kingdom-based company, Smoothwall, to provide an additional advanced firewall product, not to mention complementary web, email and web filtering security offerings. SC Magazine has awarded the unified threat management and firewall, web gateway and web filter appliances with 5-star reviews.
We are excited to provide these additional security offerings to our RJS customers, because although our software can automate business processes and eliminate unnecessary paper, digital documents are worthless without proper security. With vulnerability assessments, the Sophos product suite, ESET and Smoothwall in the fold, we can support you with a variety of highly-rated products at a price you can afford.
